Overland services
As freight forwarders, we are not restricted by the number of vehicles owned by any particular transport company. Due to our long established relations with several Polish hauliers we have at our disposal a large number of modern, driver accompanied vehicles across England and Poland daily.
They range from small dedicated 1.5 tonne express vans, through medium sized 3.5 tonners, up to large 24 tonne TIR articulated lorries, stepframes, megas and 120m3 high capacity road trains. A large part of these units comply with the highest EU emissions standards - “Euro 5”.
We specialize in the following international overland services:
ENGLAND - POLAND - ENGLAND
a) STANDARD deliveries - daily collections from both England and Poland. Part loads between 3-25 europallets, with a total gross weight up to 15 tons. Door-door transit time is 3-5 days subject to collection and delivery points. Transportation in large 24 tonne TIR trailers.
b) SEMI-EXPRESS deliveries- daily departures from both England and Poland. Part Loads between 3-10 europallets, with a total gross weight up to 2.5 tons. Door-door transit time is 2 to 3 days, subject to shipment dimensions and collection / delivery points. Transportation in either 1.5 or 3.5 tonne payload vans.
c) FULL LOAD SHIPMENTS - daily departures from both England and Poland of up to 33 non stackable europallets, with a total gross weight not exceeding 24 tons. Transportation in 24 tonne TIR trailers, “megas” (internal height 3M) or very large “road trains” with a capacity of up to 120m3. Door-door transit time is 3 days.
d) EXPRESS deliveries - daily departures from both England and Poland in dedicated 1,500 kg (payload) sprinter vans between 1 and 8 europallets. Door-door transit time varies between 24-30 hours, subject to collection and delivery points.
PAN-EUROPEAN EXPRESS deliveries in dedicated sprinter vans, e.g. Spain to Ukraine or Sweden to Italy. Anything between 1 to 8 europallets with a maximum payload of 1500 kg. Transportation in dedicated sprinter vans (internal dimensions: 420 x 230 x 220cm).
Unlike larger vehicles, the journeys of these relatively small vans are not as yet restricted by somewhat prohibitive EU regulations. As a result, these vehicles can deliver their shipments to the majority of European countries within 24 hours. This transit time can reach maximum 48 hours in the case of some extreme pan-European routes. When time is “of the essence”, we can arrange two drivers (one driving one resting) for even quicker, non-stop journeys.
